(But you can call me Neesh if you'd like).
I've been an art lover my entire life, with a passion that spans the broadest sense of the word: from literature to music and the visual arts. Whether it be getting lost in a good book, playing piano, filling my sketchbook with drawings, or fussing over the details of my latest painting, art has always been at the heart of my many hobbies. It is certainly no secret to anyone who knows me that engaging in creative projects is what makes me happiest.
Growing up, I was practically inseparable from a camera. This fact becomes very obvious when looking through my family's photos from my childhood, where many seem to have been taken from a mini-person's perspective (while it lent a cute, eye-level charm to those taken of my younger siblings, it resulted in less-than-flattering shots of the adults in my life... sorry, Mom!).
Despite always being the one behind the camera, it wasn't until high school when I got my hands on my first DSLR and delved into digital art that I truly grasped photography's potential as more than just a means of preserving memories; as my interest in digital art forms grew, photography was seamlessly integrated into my creative repertoire. It was at that point that "camera" became analogous to "paint brush" and "pencil" in my mind.
